Reliance, by the way of production of 40 mmscmd gas, is saving huge amount of money for the country. With the production getting doubled, the savings will increase manifold.
Increased production from KG D-6 gas will help various industries meeting their fuel requirements and operate at their fullest capacity.
If the production from RIL’s field will double, the power generation will increase substantially as much of the last 40 mmscmd has been allocated to the power sector. India is anyways an energy starved nation. That way, RIL will immensely help the nation it’s much needed source of energy.
Doubling of KG D-6 gas production will strongly add to Government’s finances. Additional revenues could be used by the Government to create world-class infrastructure in the country, which so far has been deprived of it.
